Samily Man Vol. 3 was started in August of 2014, when Sam got together with Patrick "Pdub" Korte for a drum and bass session at the Tahoe School of Music/ Samily Man Studios. Over the next year plus, Sam layered the rest of the instruments with the help just a couple of key musicians. The album is a mix of roots and dub reggae, covers, originals, and a tribute to the great Jackie Mittoo.
