I started this record as a challenge to myself, to create something from the ground up using nothing but my own skills and creativity. It is a first for many things for me. My first full length 12 track album, playing all the instruments, mixing and dubbing live on a mixing board. My first record with my new love, the RE-201 Space Echo. All natural analog sounds, real organ and piano, bass and guitar, springs and analog delays. I wanted everything to start from an actual vibration.

I decided early on not to get too caught up on any one part of the process. I wanted it to be low production, raw and uncut. Perfection wasn't the goal with this record. It was to be a learning process.... and it was!
